Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center is currently distinguished as one of the nation’s premier treatment facilities for heart attack, heart failure and stroke.

Heart disease and stroke are among the leading causes of illness and death in the U.S. As the population of aging residents in the San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley continues to grow, the demand for advanced heart and stroke care will become increasingly urgent, significantly impacting the region’s health care system.

Access to nearby care is essential because, in emergencies, every moment matters—time lost can mean permanent damage to heart muscle or brain tissue.

Through Heart of the Valley, our Heart Center will revolutionize cardiac care in the San Fernando Valley.

Transforming Heart Care in the Valley
The Center will extend its reach across the Valley, with leading cardiology experts providing top-tier local care to a wider patient base.
Cardiac Rehab Center
The Cardiac Rehab Center, housed in the Gary and Katy Leff Family Gym, is an individualized, step-by-step program designed to support each patient's specific cardiovascular needs. By building strength and endurance, the program safely and effectively helps you overcome some of the physical complications of heart disease and reduce further risk for developing additional heart problems.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Advanced imaging and minimally invasive robotics and catheter- based approaches in modernized labs and operating rooms will reduce recovery times, minimize risks and broaden treatment options.
New Valley-Based Programs
These additions will allow the Center to offer more heart health programs as a nationally recognized center that improves patient outcomes and quality of life. A regional hub like ours is essential as the demand for cardiovascular care grows.
