The new 900-square-foot Bookstein Family Hybrid Operating Room will support the hospital’s journey toward becoming a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Hybrid OR will integrate surgical capabilities with advanced interventional imaging technologies, allowing for traditional open surgeries, minimally invasive imageguided procedures, or a combination of both. It will house the neurointerventional biplane angiography system, which is essential for stroke treatment, particularly ischemic strokes caused by blood vessel blockages. The versatile biplane system supports a variety of innovative procedures, from electrophysiology to neuro interventions. Less invasive procedures benefit patients, leading to faster recovery and improved outcomes.
