Al’s experience in the non-profit world includes service as President of Temple Judea, King of the Valley Jesters and President of the Senior’s Golf Association of Southern California. At El Caballero Country Club, he was the Founder and President of the club’s charitable arm, El Caballero Foundation.

Al and his wife, Nancy, have been married for over 60 years.

What motivates your desire to give back?

My father once asked that if I ever acquired the means, I’d return the kindness and support that community charities provided his family when he was young.

Why are you supporting the medical center?  

I believe in the need for a world class hospital serving our community. 

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

I joined the foundation to help in governance and fundraising, in gratitude for the wonderful care I’ve received as a patient and for the honor of being part of this wonderful community endeavor.
