He’s been a certified public accountant since 1972 and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Accountants and certified in Homeland Security. 

He has authored and co-authored several books and works with numerous community organizations. He and his wife Laura have three children and two grandchildren.

What motivates your desire to give back?

I was taught by my parents the importance of helping others and being compassionate about making our community a better place.   

Why are you supporting the medical center?  

The medical center is my community hospital and I feel the need to give my time and financial resources to support it.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

I was honored to be asked to join the board by Karl Boeckmann and became “hooked” once I did and learned the hospital’s mission.
