He is involved with the American Board of Emergency Medicine, American Medical Association and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. Serving on multiple hospital committees including Bioethics, STEMI, Stroke and Performance Improvement, while providing leadership in the Emergency department.

Dr. Baca has been a part of this community for over 32 years. He and his wife Raquel have three children: Rafael, Peter and Jasmin. 

What motivates your desire to give back?

My passion and commitment is to provide the best healthcare to our community.

Why are you supporting the medical center?  

I’ve been working in our emergency department since 1991.  

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

To help provide excellent medical care in the most respectful and compassionate manner to our community. I recognize the importance of the Foundation’s role in achieving the necessary hospital growth in order to best serve the medical need of our community.
