Pouria has been awarded over 30 business and community commendations, including the 2020 Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award. He sits on various boards including the Los Angeles Business Council and Beyond Vision Music Foundation.

He’s also an active member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and engaged with various policy and think tank groups at local and national levels. 

What motivates your desire to give back?

I strongly believe that the best acknowledgment of our gratitude is the value we’re able to give back towards the communities around us.

Why are you supporting the medical center?  

Tarzana is our community’s destination for so many life changing experiences — supporting the medical center can enhance those experiences and bring our community together.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

The transformation of healthcare and need to show compassion not only align with my own values, they are the core of the Providence philosophy.
