He and his wife have lived in the valley since 1970. They have six children and seven grandchildren.

What motivates your desire to give back?

My father taught me the importance of giving back. It was very important to this great man to help others in his community. I have passed this on to my children.

Why are you supporting the medical center? 

I have used Tarzana many times for my healthcare and know how important a good hospital is. I love and respect my physicians.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

Since my retirement, I have had the time to be involved with the hospital and wanted to be of service to my community.
