He has served as the co-chairman for the Human Resources Metrics Consortium and authored a number of chapters and articles, on the essentials of HR BPO and creating an effective BPO model.

Bruce is a past president of the board of directors for the US Academic Decathlon Association and a frequent speaker at colleges and universities on leadership development and career aspirations.

Bruce previously served as Chairman of the Foundation Board for Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center and as Foundation Chair for Providence Cedar-Sinai Medical Center.

Bruce and his wife, Leza Rose–Ferguson, are proud parent of triplets.
